Audience analysis measurement techniques and principles are vital media companies success because they help them create an understanding among their audiences. To achieve this relationship and understanding there are multiple effective techniques such as; probability sampling, quota sampling, evaluating surveys, and polls. This is not the only measurement companies yearn for; they also are focused on measuring the size of their audiences. Out of all the techniques stated in the book I believe that surveying audiences is the most effective form of analysis. It creates a direct connection with audiences and has a huge revenue of over 5 billion dollars each business year.
