In what way do media and advertising work together?
Media and advertising work together for many reasons. Often people in the media advertise themselves through media or advertise products because they are paid to. Media people, athletes, stars, singers all can get sponsored or paid by certain companies if they are well known enough so that the public wants to buy that product because they like that media person.
Media is constantly used to advertise products for example in ads on television, the radio, the computer, and the news paper. People in advertising work with people in media and vice versa. They are two very intertwined businesses. Advertising specifically would not be able to happen without the media, they need to reach mass audiences to sell their product, and they have to do this through media. The more successful ads use popular people in the media, popular songs, or ideas.
