Why does economics drive most media companies?
Media has everything to do with economics. The media companies are driven by this because they have to think about the state of the economy before they design their ads and everything else they put out there. If the economy is good, than there are more people looking to buy things and people are much more willing to spend money on things they might not necessarily need. When the economy's bad its harder to reel people in with advertisements and commercials. The media companies also like to focus a lot on the economy, not just advertisement wise, because its a topic everyone is concerned with and interested in. Economy affects everyone, and so does media, and they kind of go hand in hand. Companies make money depending on the economy, so they really have to be concerned and driven by the media that portrays them so that they will be able to survive even in rough economic times.
