survival of the print industry

When we first started talking about the print industry and how everything can be accessed via internet these days, i thought for sure that the print industries work load was declining. My family owns a printing company that mainly prints advertisements and books. Lately with the bad economy, they have had a small decline in clients and work, which lead me to think the same would happen for magazines and newspapers and such. However, magazine sales have actually went up. There are multiple ads out saying that trying to assure the readers that it's still in to read magazines. I think that the print industry will really never be deemed useless because people love to actually be able to hold paper and physically turn the pages to reveal new information. Sometimes staring at a computer screen gets dull and its more enjoyable to really look at actual printed items.
