Mass Media has continually changed the way that audiences are entertained through a variety of ways. One for instance would be radio or television programming. Millions of people across the globe turn on their radios or televisions to listen or watch their favorite programs displays topics of their interests. Because these people are interested in certain subjects, topics, or lifestyles, these programs exist to meet the end consumer’s desires.

As technology adapts, so do these mass media programs and ways to keep in touch with ones desired content, lifestyles, or viewpoints. With the invention of the Internet there are now thousands of website that likely discuss a topic of issue. Even blogs like this one here might be desirable to someone in terms of entertainment value. With the addition of ipods, smart phones, twitter, you tube, facebook, and so forth, users of media are able to stay connected to their favorite artists, actors, friends, and everything nearly all day everyday. This has made once easily entertained audiences very demanding, fidgety, and much more expecting of instant gratification.

Today we live in an age where media needs to be near instant for the followers to be entertained for any amount of time as they will easily change to another medium or channel.
