Currently in the world today, technology serves as a major part of our lives. Everyday, we rely on technology for information and communication. Whether a person is using a cell phone, laptop, or television, they are relying on technology to be one with the world around them. If technology fails at some point, a person will not be able to obtain information from the outside world and communicate with others.
Another important factor of technology dependence is the advances in technology everyday. People are always looking for the new and improved technology. When technology becomes old, it becomes obsolete. It just acts as a background for the new technology being provided. By using the newer technology, people are able to connect faster and be more efficient. Sometimes people want more advanced technology when it is not available yet. This causes a lot of frustration for them. People are getting used to having the latest technology at their fingertips, so when they can’t have it, it is difficult for them to understand. Like these people, I have a serious “technology addiction,” so I understand what they are going through.
With new technological advances, the world depends on each and every step taken to enhance them.
